Web Design Wiki

How about having all those great web design articles in one place. Web design wiki isn't totally released yet, we're hosting it here until we have a good bit of articles covering from HTML, CSS, PHP, to MYSQL and even programs like:

  • Photoshop
  • Gimp
  • Paint Shop Pro
  • Dreamweaver

Any anything else that can and will be used to make great websites WILL be covered in this wiki.

I personally know that it takes time, dedication, and the drive to create a large website such as this. However, I'm willing to do this, and I'm also looking for a co-admin for the job. I don't really have any requirements other than you be trustworthy and have MSN, oh and before I forget, you must know how to use Wiki coding :D


We encourage you to write your own article and hope this community will grow. Our goal is to become the largest wikipedia of web design and development on the web. Yes, it's quite a large goal and we intent to hit it, with your help it's possible.


[edit] Summary of article types

  • Articles directly related to HTML, CSS, Perl, Python, PHP, MySql, MsSql, any other Web-Based programming language or database type!
  • Programs such as Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, Fireworks, Gimp, etc... The articles must reflect web based designs or development.


[edit] Bad articles

  • Anything not pertaining to web design or development such as Forum Signatures (sigs), photo manipulation and the like.
  • Stand alone programming languages such as C++
